| Dr. Carolyn Whittier has been a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University staff for four years. She has fourteen years of professional experience working with fraternities and sororities, and serves as the NPHC Advisor at VCU. Carrie has recently completed her term as President of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (www.fraternityadvisors.org) in 2009. Prior to coming to VCU, Carrie worked at Centre College, Randolph-Macon College, and Elon University. She has her undergraduate degree from DePauw University, masters degree from Ball State University, and doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University.
