Virginia Commonwealth University, Fraternity and Sorority Life

Virginia Commonwealth University hosts 36 inter/national fraternities and sororities across four governing councils.  The fraternity and sorority community reflects the diverse makeup of the VCU campus, and with almost 1000 member students, this community is the largest values-based demographic of students at VCU.

Each of the four council websites provide information regarding membership requirements, the recruitment/intake process, rules and regulations, and other areas of concern.  Further inquiries can be directed at any time to the fraternity and sorority life coordinater and staff members. 

It is the mission of each fraternity and sorority hosted at VCU to provide a safe environment in which students can grow academically, develop lasting relationships, and strengthen their character.  The fraternity/sorority experience will enrich an individual's life far beyond college graduation.
