  • Shared Standards Review 2013

     

    Below is a schedule for the 2013 Shared Standards Review Process. Each chapter has a scheduled hour and thirty minutes to sit with a professional staff member to go through their binder. While meeting with the staff member, the staff member will fill out their evaluation sheet in front on the students. If there are things missing from the binders they will have 5 business days to get it into their binder. Chapters are welcome to reschedule their scheduled meeting time for either before their scheduled meeting time or after as long as it is completed by May 20th. Meetings missed without prior rescheduling with not be rescheduled and the staff member will review the binder without them. 

    It doesn't have to be the chapter president who attends the meeting it can be anyone in the chapter familiar with theshared standards process and the chapter's activities.

  • 2013 Greek Ambassador Application

     

    Thank you for your interest in being a Greek Ambassador! Please review the Greek Ambassador description and qualifications below prior to completing the Greek Ambassador application. Applications are due by April 19, 2013 at 3 p.m.
     
    Greek Ambassadors serve as hosts and hostesses for potential students and their families when seeking more information about Fraternity and Sorority Life at Virginia Commonwealth University. Greek Ambassadors lead presentations and serve as positive representatives for the fraternity and sorority community as a whole by answering any questions that potential members and their parents may have. 
     
    Qualifications: 
    • 2.5 Cumulative and semester GPA
    • Must be a member in good standing in a fraternity or sorority at Virginia Commonwealth University
    • In good standing the with Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity
    • Must be available the majority of the summer, days and/or nights, to participate in orientation activities
    • Must be a positive role model within the fraternity and sorority community
    • Must be outgoing and personable • Interest in learning about the entire fraternity and sorority community
    • Attend interviews on Tuesday, April 23 from 5 - 6 p.m. or 9 - 11 p.m.
    • Attend mandatory training with held on Saturday, April 27 from 2-5 p.m. in the Larrick Student Center, Court End Ballroom A.
